Robots made to work in the wild
These videos show some of the initial work for developing navigation systems for legged robots in wild bush. The maps are created from lidar and stereovision data. These maps will be used for training and testing the navigation systems in simulation.
Once the navigation systems are tested in simulation, they will be tested in the real world, while servicing traps for pests. They’ll also be used to test harvesting leaves and berries in the wild.
